Suitably refreshed after a nasty days work, I wandered to the club lounge to enjoy a nibbles and pre-dinner G&T. After chatting for a few moments to the butler he decided the best thing for me was a refreshing glass of Chardonnay. To be honest it isn't my usual first choice (i'm a Prosecco girl)anyway I was in no mood to argue. What a surprise I got when the chilled fruity liquid slipped down. Where was that typical rounded oakiness? This is deliciously fine fruity with a lovely finish and good 'legs'. Very quaffable. Went down a treat with the cheese and salmon nibbles.
